At Emmanuel, let us be an umbrella for you during the storms of life providing you meaningful ritual of remembrance within a loving community. Faith celebrates life in this world and in life after death.

When planning a funeral, a memorial service or even a gentle memorial moment during Sunday worship, we can provide you our church sanctuary and our minister, at no cost. We offer you our ministry with God’s love and grace and as a caring community of faith. We also have a team of lay worship leaders who assist in services and interments, available as needed.

If you wish to give a gift in loving memory of your loved one, we gratefully accept it as a means to maintain our church life and service in the wider community.

Our cemeteries

As a community of faith we have deep historic roots in Cowansville and surrounding areas. The five cemeteries listed below were originally associated with the United Churches in the communities of Brigham, Farnham Centre, Farnham and Cowansville. They are now under the care of the Cowansville Area Pastoral Charge Board of Trustees.

If you are interested in choosing a final resting place for you or your loved ones, please contact the church office to obtain further information relating to these cemeteries. We also welcome any donations to help maintain the cemetery grounds.
